John Capobianco
John is Senior Vice-President of Public Affairs at Edelman Canada and, as part of the Canadian executive team, John helps private and non-profit organizations build and maintain relationships with government officials at federal, provincial and municipal levels. John Capobianco is known for assisting such companies as; The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, The Canadian Bank Note, Ontario Teacher’s Penion Plan and other companies in various sectors. Prior occupations include; being Vice-President and Business Unit Leader at a major global public affairs firm and also working as a senior political advisor for Ontario Government, as well as spending 10 years in the financial sector. John Capobianco is currently a member of the Board of the Albany Club of Toronto, the president-elect of the Canadian Club of Toronto and is the Chair of the Board for The National Broadcast Reading Service Inc. (NBRS), among others. Mr. Capobianco has over 22 years of grassroots political experience at all three levels of government and is recognized as a leader in the conservative movement being twice nominated for the Toronto-area riding of Etobicoke-Lakeshore, along with being a regular political commentator in Canada’s national media.
