Our Mission
Making Media Accessible
To operate The Accessible Channel also known as TACtv, a national English language satellite-to-cable described video and captioned programming undertaking that 24 hours a day will offer blind, low-vision, deaf and hard of hearing viewers access to high-quality news, information, drama, entertainment and other programming; a specialty TV service that the Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) requires all Class 1 and 2 distribution undertakings, including multipoint and direct-to-home distribution undertakings, to distribute provided you have a basic digital package.
