The stakes have never been higher for Canada’s favourite design star, Debbie Travis. This season, Debbie embarks on her boldest venture yet as she moves into the volatile market of consumer homes...and she needs to find a Chief Designer to make it happen, just like she did, from the ground up.

In her traditional grassroots style, Debbie rolls up her sleeves and puts her 14 protegés to the test to see what they’ve got. Each week, the protegés will face challenging and unconventional design tasks featuring unique materials and surprise locations. Working with them every step of the way, Debbie separates the driven from the divas, and the talented from the traditional. Watch as the protegés are stretched to their creative breaking points, as only one will prove themselves worthy to be named Debbie Travis’ new Chief Designer.
